The Thumper cells will arrive fastened with silicone and will be pre-wired with a complete set of cables (everything you will require for your battery repack)
You will receive a tube of silicone to help you complete the repack along with a complete set of instructions.
IMPORTANT:
Repacking all Thumper battery packs with the Lithium DROP IN CELLS will result in the 175 AMP Anderson connector no longer being usable.
These DROP IN CELLS do not provide the connection to the 175 Amp Anderson
The Lithium DROP IN PACKS do not suit JUMP STARTING.

But what do you do when your battery pack finally gives up the ghost?
The Answer: REPACK it! and now, we offer LITHIUM!
Thumper offer a range of replacement DROP IN batteries in both AGM and Lithium models so that your battery pack can be refurbished!
Completely wired and fastened together, the DROP IN cells are ready to simply 'drop into' your Thumper housing and with two simple connections, and you're done! No need to solder as Thumper have already done the work for you!

Can I charge my Lithium battery pack from my existing AGM vehicle wiring loom?
Lithium batteries do require a higher rate of charge compared to an AGM battery. As a result, it is recommended to charge lithium batteries through the vehicle through the use of a DC Battery charger. The DC Battery charger will boost any low voltage output from the vehicle and will charge the Lithium battery back to 100% charged!
Using a standard wiring loom with a Voltage sensitive relay (VSR) or Ignition relay will not charge the Lithium Battery to 100%.
Home of 12 Volt offer a number of options for a DC battery chargers that will suit your Thumper Lithium replacement battery pack.
Are you charging direct from a cigarette socket of the vehicle, with no wiring loom installed?
No problem, we at Home of 12 Volt offer a 5 Amp in line DC charger (LDC-5A), or a 8 Amp In line DC charger (LDC-8A). These chargers can be modified to use an Anderson connector to connect into your Thumper unit and straight into the vehicle's cigarette socket!
Charging from a cigarette socket will ultimately result in a slower rate of charge, as the cigarette socket is rated at a lower amperage and are normally wired in lighter gauge cable. This is the reason these chargers are only rated at 5 Amps or 8 Amps.
Note: The 5 Amp charger will produce 5 Amps per every hour of drive time back into the Thumper unit / and will use approx 7 Amps of power from the vehicle's cigarette socket to produce this. [The 8 Amp will produce 8 Amps per hour of drive time and will draw approx 10 Amps from the cigarette socket to produce this 8 Amps]
Do you have a heavier cable in your vehicle already?
Perfect! If you have an after market line installed in the vehicle with Anderson connector, then you already have half of the kit you need to install a heavy charge line for your Lithium pack!

An overview on the THUMPER Lithium Battery pack -
Each Thumper unit consists of multiple 12 Volt Lithium LiFePO4 batteries linked together in parallel to make up the amp hour capacity of each pack.
The cells are maintenance free and will not leak or gas when charging; perfect for use inside the vehicle or enclosed areas. Unlike other batteries on the market, the Thumper range of batteries have the ability to charge at a rapid rate and offer a discharge of 95% usable power.
