The Thumper Lithium battery pack is a reliable, compact and lightweight alternative to the standard lead acid portable dual battery system.
Designed with the latest technology of Lithium LiFePo4 cells, the Thumper offers a fully sealed and maintenance free battery pack that can safely be used on any side.
Equipped with an internal Battery Management System (BMS), the Thumper Lithium offers safe charging and discharging with over temperature protection, under and over voltage cut off protection and internal short circuit protection.
The Thumper range of Lithium battery packs have a usable power of 95% capacity. At this point, the BMS system within the Thumper will shut down all power to the unit. Â In order to reset the BMS, an charge load must be connected to the battery.
Note: The Thumper Lithium is not suitable for Jump-Starting

The Thumper Lithium 90 AH – Redarc model has been designed to include a hardwired Redarc BCDC1225D. The 25 Amp DC charger offers the perfect charge rate from both vehicle and solar charging, programmed especially for use with Lithium batteries.
The DC charger is wired to two dedicated external 50 Amp Andersons, labelled ‘alternator input’ for the vehicle charge and ‘unregulated solar input’ for solar use.
This unit spares no expensive with the countless features it offers, along with a lightweight, easy to use design.
Offering an impressive 90 AH of battery power, this unit has the ability to run the average 50Lt compressor type fridge for over 5 days; almost 60% better run time compared to its AGM counterpart!
Equipped with virtually every socket you would ever need, along with a precision digital gauge for monitoring, this unit IS the BEST portable dual battery money can buy!
The unit is equipped with:
1 x Digital display screen                              2 x 50Amp Anderson (Max. 50A)
2 x Cigarette socket                                     1 x Dual USB socket (Min. 2.4A)
1 x Engel Fridge socket                                 1 x Merit type socket
1 x 2.1mm Input / Output                            2 x Automatic circuit breaker protection

Charging:
The Thumper 90 AH includes the complete vehicle wiring loom (TUR-L). The wiring loom is designed to separate the Thumper from the main starter battery when the vehicle ignition is off. It is recommended to still install this loom with models that are fitted with the DC charger.
The TUR-L charging loom has been equipped with an ‘ignition wire’. This ignition wire has been designed to work in conjunction with the Thumper models fitted with a DC charger and a ‘Low Voltage override switch’. This switch is designed for use with vehicles that have a low output voltage. By pressing the ‘Low Voltage override switch’, the switch will illuminate BLUE, and DC charger will begin to charge immediately when the vehicle is running. The DC charger will cease to operate as immediately when the ignition is OFF. This isolation occurs from the TUR-L and not from the DC charger at this point.
If the ‘Low Voltage override switch’ is not illuminated, then the DC charger will be allowed to operate as normal by voltage. This method allows the main starter battery from the vehicle to require a minimum of 13.2 Volts in order to activate the DC charger. When the vehicle is OFF, the main starter battery will need to reach a voltage of 12.7Volts before the DC charger will switch OFF and isolate
