This high-quality setup is perfect for big power discharge appliances including coffee machines, power tools and fridges.
With a massive 200amps packed in a slim battery structure with a 380Amp BMS which is capable of powering a 3000-Watt inverter there isn’t anything this battery can’t run. The Custom Lithium battery range have automotive rated cells which are great for off road use and spec’d up for vibration.

By using a Ausmotion behind seat bracket the Custom Battery is hidden out of way along with all the componentry including the Redarc BCDCN1240 Core charger, Victron Energy Smart Shunt and Midi fuse setup.

Charging this bad boy is done with the Redarc BCDCN1240 which is an alternator charge input as well as a MPPT solar charger. 6Mtr of 6bs twin cable is supplied din the package to install the charger along with 2 x inline Midi Fuse holders and fuses.

To deliver DC power to your fridge and lights a Thumper accessory box is supplied with a Voltmeter, 2 x sockets and an Anderson plug.  This is wired up with 6mm twin cable supplied in the package.

This product has been designed specifically to mount the following battery only.

Installation Notes

This mount designed for direct mounting of the Custom Lithium battery.

Jack and tools must be relocated – See below for alternative jack and tool mounting location.

Original jack mounting bracket (welded into the car by Ford) must remain in place as the lower part of this product is bolted to it.

Suitable for PXI, PXII, PXIII and Ranger Raptor vehicles.

Also fits 2nd generation Mazda BT50.

BT50, PXI Ranger and PXII Ranger require no modification to the vehicle to install this product.

Installation on PX3 and Raptor models will require a small section of the carpet on the rear cab wall to be cut out using a sharp knife. This can be done easily in the car. Vehicles with remote controlled roller shutter or keyless entry may require the Antenna module found behind the carpet to be unclipped from the back wall of the cab and re-positioned lower down on the wall with double-sided tape.

No-drill installation, using original Ford thread inserts in the back wall. No cutting of metal is required.

Our under-seat battery charger bracket is the perfect companion for the behind seat battery mount and is available as an optional extra. Please add in bracket section.

Jack and Tool Relocation

The AusMotion jack and tool mount is the perfect solution, allowing them to be securely mounted in the tub and is available as an optional extra. Please add in brackets section.

Victron Energy Smart Shunt 500Amp

The SmartShunt is an all in one battery monitor, only without a display. Your phone acts as the display. The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect App on your phone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more.

Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected and be read by a GX device. Connection to the SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable.

The SmartShunt is a good alternative for a BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed but less wiring and clutter is wanted.
The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used for: monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring or a temperature sensor.

The SmartShunt is available in 500A. The 1000A and 2000A will follow later this year.
